Fortune magazine named Apple the world's most respected company for the 11th time in a row

The authoritative American publication Fortune has once again published its traditional annual ranking of the World's Most Admired Companies. To compile the list, 3,900 top managers, analysts, and experts were polled. For the eleventh year in a row, Apple topped the list.

In doing so, Apple also took first place in each of the categories, such as innovation, quality of management, social responsibility, quality of products and services, etc.

Apple is followed, as it did a year earlier, by Amazon. Rounding out the top three is Alphabet, the parent company of Google, and fourth is Berkshire Hathaway. In fifth place is the coffee chain Starbucks. In 11th place was Netflix and 12th was Facebook. Above other non-American companies was the German carmaker BMW - it is in 19th place.

IBM managed to get only the 35th line in the ranking, and Intel is located on the 45th place.
