You may have to adjust the clock on your iPad the first time you set it up. You can also change their settings, anytime you change your time zone or just want your clock to show the time more accurately or you just have it off. You also have the option to switch from a 12-hour clock with "AM" or "PM" indications to a 24-hour clock, as is common in military or navigational mode. Choose the option that works best for you.
How to set the time on iPad
How to do it:
Tap the Settings icon on the home screen of your iPad.
Select the General link in the Settings app.
Select "date and time," which are in the lower half of the screen on the right side of the panel. You can also adjust them manually by correcting the time to the second yourself.
Select "time zone" and enter the largest city in your time zone. For example, if you live in the same time zone as the capital, you should select "Moscow" even if you don't actually live in that city.
Select a city from the list as you enter matches.
Press the back arrow at the top of the screen to return to the time settings.
Press "set date and time".
Tap the time in the drop-down box and use the selection wheels below it to change the current time. For example, if you say "11" when you want to set the time to "12″, place your finger on "11″ and drag up to set the time to "12″. The minutes and AM/PM settings work the same way.
Tap the date and use the scroll wheel in the same way to select the correct date, if necessary.
Click anywhere outside the date and time field to close it when you are finished setting the date and time.
Press the switch next to "Time within 24 hours" to turn on the 24-hour mode.
Select the "general" arrow to return to the "general settings" page, or press the Home button to exit settings and return to the Home screen when you are finished setting the time on your iPad.
