How to beat 2048: basic instructions and tips (part 1)

2048 - is an addictive game for desktops and mobile devices. It is easy to learn, but difficult to win. You can play the game online or download it for iOS or Android.\n\nPart 1: Basic Instructions and Tips\n\n\n\n1. Learn the rules. You probably already know how 2048, but, just in case, here are the highlights. Note that this is all about the official game, but there are many parodies, imitations, and even predecessors, many of which have different mechanisms.\n\n- Push the dice with the numbers on the display in different directions. Each cube moves in its own direction until it hits a wall or another cube. (Use the arrow buttons on the computer.) Each time you make a move, two to four cubes appear in random places.2. Try to collect 2048. When cubes with the same number collide with each other, they merge into one with a number equal to the sum of the two cubes. For example, two cubes with the numbers 2 together will create 4. The goal is to create a cube with the number 2048.\n\n3. stop and look around. It's easy to get immersed in the game and try to make as fast movements as possible. If you want to get the best result, ignore that impulse and move only when you're ready. Look ahead and try to imagine what the field will look like after your next move, or at least what will happen to the important dice.\n\n\n\n\n4. Focus on the angle. A common strategy among players is to build a large number in one corner. No matter what corner you choose, stay in it.This tactic works best if the corner is part of a row that you are constantly filling. This allows you to move the dice from left to right without clinging to the high number\n\n5. Always combine plural numbers. If you see long rows of identical numbers, it's a good idea to combine them and make room for yourself on the display.\n\n\n\n6. Alternate upward and rightward movements. One basic approach is to slide the cubes up and to the right until they are completely blocked. Then press left and then go back to alternating up and right.
